CHARM-EU Funds Fourteen New Inter-Institutional Projects to Advance Innovative and Collaborative Education

CHARM-EU is delighted to announce the outcomes of the second CHARM-ED Call, with fourteen innovative educational collaboration projects selected for funding across the alliance. In total, CHARM-EU has funded 26 inter-institutional educational innovation collaborations within its CHARM8 project.

A diverse group of five people sits around a wooden conference table in a bright, white room, engaged in a collaborative meeting. A woman with glasses and a green sweater gestures while speaking, holding a reusable coffee cup. To her right, a young woman with curly hair and a blue snowflake sweater types on a laptop covered in colorful stickers. In the foreground, hands are visible holding a pen over yellow sticky notes and blank paper, alongside a smartphone and pens. Everyone is wearing blue lanyards, suggesting a professional or academic workshop setting.

The CHARM-ED Call supports the creation, enhancement, and redesign of higher education and lifelong learning activities across CHARM-EU partner institutions. The selected projects exemplify CHARM-EU’s commitment to educational innovation and collaboration. They were chosen for their clear alignment with CHARM-EU’s educational vision and potential to create meaningful impact at both institutional and alliance levels.

An evaluation committee comprising of CHARM-EU education experts from all partners evaluated the proposals in terms of the CHARM-EU educational principles, alignment with EU goals, and impact. More than 60 academics and professionals from over 30 disciplines will collaborate across seven universities, advancing CHARM-EU’s shared mission to reimagine higher education through challenge-driven, transdisciplinary, and sustainability-focused learning.
