The online SPHERE seminar aims to provide participants with insights into the policy and practice of the European Universities Initiative (EUI) through panel discussions and case studies. While focusing on the EUI and its alliances, the seminar also invites discussions on current European higher education policy and the Bologna Process commitments, targeting those involved in higher education policy-making at all experience levels.

This online SPHERE seminar will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about and discuss the policy and practice aspects of the EUI in plenary discussions and smaller workshop sessions. It will examine the ramifications for the HERE countries and their respective policy processes related to internationalisation of the higher education sector, international partnerships and cooperation with the EU.

CHARM-EU Secretary General, Meritxell Chaves, will participate at the session about Quality Assurance in inter-institutional collaboration from 12:00 to 13:00 with Maria Kelo, Director of Institutional Development from the EUA and Sophia Karner, from UnaEuropa.
