On 21 March 2022, Dr Agnes Sarolta Fazekas, Assistant Professor at ELTE, Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education, Institute for Disability and Social Participation, and CHARM-EU Work Package Leader on Inclusiveness, together with Dr Derina Johnson, Team Member of the Work Package on Inclusiveness, project manager of the Trinity Inclusive Curriculum Project within the Equality Diversity and Inclusive Office (TCD) represented CHARM-EU and provided their contribution at the AHEAD Conference: “Safe Haven or Stormy Port? Exploring how tertiary education design impacts our health” on 21st March 2022.

Equality, diversity, and inclusion continue to be incorporated very differently into the structures, policies and practices of HEIs. Showcasing the CHARM-EU Alliance and Master’s Programme, this session outlined a framework of critical questions reflecting on how HEIs can update governance models, strategies and management structures to remain inclusive, innovative 21st-century universities.
