Through the Transnational Online Learning programme, it is possible to follow online courses offered by universities throughout Europe.
What is the CHARM-EU transnational online catalogue?
CHARM-EU Universities provide access to some of their hybrid or online courses for the students at the partner universities and facilitate transnational online learning activities. This way, you will get first-hand transnational experience without physical mobility.

What types of courses are offered?
The majority of the courses in this call are accredited as a course in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral programme at the host university. For most of the courses, students can earn ECTS (see further details below). Also, the courses:
- are delivered in English, German and French
- are either fully online (all students are online) or hybrid (regular students attend classes in person, virtual exchange students attend classes online at the same time)
- are delivered either synchronously or asynchronously
- are in most cases interactive (students have an opportunity to interact with the course materials, the instructor, and the other students in the class, for example, during international group projects, Moodle forums or breakout rooms).
Who can apply?
- If you are a Bachelor’s, Master’s student or Doctoral candidate at one of the CHARM-EU universities.
- If your background and experience (e.g. language attainment level where relevant) align with the requirements of the course.
When should I apply?
The deadline to apply :
- For the courses to be started in October or later: 6th September 2026.
- For the courses to be started in September: 15th June 2026.
