This event is taking place as part of the CHARM-ED project, GERI-CHARM: Enhancing Undergraduate Geriatric Medicine Education through CHARM-EU Collaboration and bilateral exchanges between Trinity College Dublin and the University of Barcelona.
 
Prof. Maria Victoria Farré Mercadé will be presenting on “European Perspectives on Undergraduate Teaching in Geriatric Medicine” at the Davis Coakley Lecture Theatre. She is the Spanish delegate to the European Union of Medical Specialists, Geriatric Medicine Section, and contributes to European work on education and training standards. In this lecture, she will compare approaches to undergraduate Geriatric Medicine teaching across Europe, with particular attention to Catalonia and Spain, and highlight opportunities to strengthen geriatric competencies across medical curricula.
