We invite you to participate in this interdisciplinary meeting space to visualise and design the future through collaborative research. This conference, aimed at members of the UB Hub in Global Sustainability, as well as Teaching and research staff and doctoral students interested in the challenges of building a sustainable future, will allow the integration of transversal visions of knowledge to define realistic sustainability scenarios.

The event will feature the participation of internationally renowned speakers (keynote speakers):

  • Pep Canadell (CSIRO, Global Carbon Project)

  • Maria Luisa Lima (ISCTE-Instituto Universitari de Lisboa)

  • Albert Tarancón (IREC – Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya)

Participatory work session

The heart of the day will take place in the afternoon, with a group work session that will be key to defining the strategic axes for the future. This co-creation space will allow the integration of debated ideas and direct participation in the configuration of social scenarios that make sustainability possible on planet Earth.

Call for Presentations

We also open a call for oral presentations aimed at researchers who want to share projects, data or proposals that contribute to the creation of feasible scenarios. Deadline for submissions is 6 May.
