Last 10 June 2020 the rectors of CHARM-EU alliance and the Project Management Team came together for the online Rectors’ Assembly.
The first part of this virtual meeting* that took place last 10 June 2020 was attended by the entire Project Management Team including a student representative. Meritxell Chaves, Alliance Manager, presented to the rectors the state of play on CHARM-EU and its main activities and results followed by round of questions and answers. During the meeting a work package overview was presented as well as the progress in the dialogue with the different external stakeholders such as Quality Agencies and the ministries of the countries involved and the relation with other European Universities Alliances and the COVID-19 effect on CHARM-EU. The other topics that were addressed were the project’s governance management and main outputs which includes CHARM-EU long term vision and principles, education principles, the recognition process values and structure, financial report and the pilot master main features. The presentation was followed by a Q&A and discussion.
The second part of the meeting the rectors of CHARM-EU alliance had an opportunity to discuss different elements of the project and approve a series of actions such as the long term vision and principles, the basic features of the master programme and the composition of the CHARM-EU Advisory Board. During the Rectors’ Assembly they also had the opportunity to talk about the next steps and the role of the alliance at the political national and regional level.
