Learning outcomes

After having completed the course, the student
• will know what physiological factors shape the Baltic Sea
• will know what kind of climate is prevalent in the Baltic Sea
• will know more about the biodiversity in the Baltic Sea, and how the ecosystems are shaped
• can give examples on key species and their function in the Baltic Sea
• will be aware of pressures and challenges present in the Baltic Sea and how they can be dealt with
• can give examples on regional cooperation between countries in the Baltic Sea
