Deadline:

We look for participation by faculty across disciplines to offer online BA/BSc, MA/MSc and PhD level courses for university students of the CHARM-EU Alliance. We welcome your contributions for the Spring / Summer Semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Course offers for the Autumn / Winter Semester of the 2026/2027 academic year are also welcome, however, there will be a further call next spring when courses for the following semester can be offered.
CHARM-EU represents a Challenge-Driven, Accessible, Research-based and Mobile model for the co-creation of a European University aligned with the European Values, the European Green Deal and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This international programme employs innovative pedagogical approaches and mechanisms to engage staff and students of diverse backgrounds and disciplines to facilitate, foster and enhance the links between education, research, and innovation. Furthermore, active engagement with CHARM-EU’s extended network of academic experts and extra-academic actors increases the potential development and employability of our graduates.
Example: Martin is studying for his Bachelor’s in Business Studies at Utrecht University. As part of his studies, he identifies an online module on Critical Thinking Skills on the CHARM-EU Virtual Exchange catalogue delivered by Eotvos Lorand University. He applies for this module and completes it virtually. He then receives a transcript of records for 5 ECTS credits that can be used for his Bachelor’s.
CHARM-EU Universities are providing access to a certain set of their online courses for the students at the partner universities, and facilitating transnational online learning activities. This way, students get first-hand transnational experience without physical mobility. The credits of the online courses might be recognised in line with the standard procedures of the home university of the student.
This is the fifth call for transnational online learning activities. In the first four editions, we offered altogether 108 courses, and we received around 840 registrations. We wish to build on our success to offer a greater range of courses to our CHARM-EU partner institution students and support our teaching staff in expanding the impact of their teaching.
If you are ready for an international university challenge, interested in becoming a member of an international faculty, then please submit your course.
