Call for Proposals: CHARM-EU Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) 2026/2027

Deadline:

Audience:

Coordinating institution: Any CHARM-EU partner university

Background

As part of CHARM-EU’s mission to promote innovative, challenge-driven, and transdisciplinary education, partner universities are invited to design and implement Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) under the Erasmus+ framework.

Each BIP combines online collaborative learning with a short-term physical mobility component (5–10 days) at the coordinating university, involving students and staff from at least three CHARM-EU partner universities.

These programmes aim to foster intercultural exchange, strengthen the CHARM-EU community, and develop flexible mobility opportunities within the Alliance.

We are seeking to support BIPs that build CHARM-EU collaboration, pilot innovative transdisciplinary teaching formats, and create shared mobility experiences across the alliance.

Objectives

  • Encourage the development of innovative, multidisciplinary learning experiences.
  • Enhance student and staff mobility across CHARM-EU universities.
  • Test and scale up new educational formats aligned with CHARM-EU’s priorities.

Who can apply

Academic staff from CHARM-EU partner universities are invited to submit a proposal.
Each proposal should:

  • Be coordinated by one CHARM-EU university.
  • Include at least two additional CHARM-EU partner universities as collaborators.

  • Gain new professional networks from the CHARM-EU alliance universities.
  • Provide recognition for participants using CHARM-EU micro-credentials.

Programme structure

A CHARM BIP should include:

  1. Virtual component: joint online sessions or collaborative projects (before and/or after the physical mobility).
  2. Physical mobility component: 5–10 days in-person at the coordinating university.
  3. Learning outcomes and ECTS: clearly defined learning objectives, expected outcomes, and the corresponding ECTS credits.
  4. Alignment with CHARM-EU educational principles

Financial support

Funding for BIPs can be obtained through Erasmus+ mobility funds, covering:
