When
Where
Nowadays, open access can be achieved in several ways: publishing in full open access journals, publishing through the so-called “transformation agreements”, posting copies of publications in institutional repositories… Some of these paths require paying for publishing, but others may be followed by exercising rights held by authors and institutions.
In this two-day session, we would like to share with researchers and university library staff the initiatives developed in different universities and the different options available to achieve open access publications and policies. Sessions will inform about read-publish agreements, rights retention, secondary publishing rights, amongst others, in the CHARM-EU institutions, followed by a small discussion panel with the speakers.
