The ED AFFICHE Mid-Term meeting, titled “Syncing Achievements: Collaborative Solutions to Facilitate the Path to the European Degree Label” is set to take place on 22 November 2023 at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the European Union in Brussels. The meeting serves as a forum, uniting stakeholders from across Europe. It provides a central platform for educators, policymakers, and institutions to discuss and advance the European Degree Label within the framework of the ED AFFICHE Project.

During the meeting, project representatives will share updates on critical aspects, including the European Degree Label’s design, outcomes of legal barrier analyses, and insights from stakeholders such as quality assurance agencies, students, and employers. Additionally, open questions concerning the label will be explored. Specifically, speakers will delve into the intricacies of the Joint European Degree Label, examining its criteria, verification methods, and the distinction between it as a qualification and a quality label. They will also address its interaction with external quality assurance and funding instruments.

In the afternoon session, exclusive to ED AFFICHE partners, the focus will be on tackling legal challenges related to joint degree programmes. Partners will collaborate to formulate guidelines and recommendations, providing practical solutions for navigating these complexities effectively. This meeting aims to facilitate meaningful progress towards the European Degree Label, fostering collaboration and shared insights among all participants.

We eagerly anticipate engaging in discussions with you, sharing our achievements, and outlining the forthcoming actions within the project. Your active involvement is key to our collaborative success.
