The Usability and Interaction Lab (UnI Lab) at Hochschule Ruhr West offers research-oriented internships situated at the intersection of neuromarketing and behavioral research within questions of responsible digitalization, sustainable consumption, and trustworthy communication. The team investigates how consumers and users attend to, interpret, and act upon digital stimuli, with a particular focus on sustainability communication, labeling, and transparency in AI-generated or AI-mediated contexts.
Ongoing and prior projects include eye-tracking studies on Nutri-Score labels, origin-of-produce labeling on food packaging, and disclosure practices for AI-generated images and content on social media.
