Following a successful online training in June, TORCH is organizing the second CHARM-EU Open Science Day on 26 October 2023 with hybrid sessions focusing on institutional support mechanisms and building skills on Open Access publishing.
Promoting the circulation and dissemination of scientific knowledge through Open Science is a central objective of TORCH, CHARM-EU’s R&I dimension. The aim of the Second CHARM-EU Open Science Days is to share experiences about promoting Open Science culture and practice among CHARM-EU universities and beyond.
During the one-day hybrid workshop organized by Eötvös Loránd University, academics will share their experience in various fields connected to Open Science such as setting up Research Data Space and Open Access publishing. The morning session will focus on the institutional support of Open Science with speakers from the University of Montpellier and Utrecht University, while the afternoon session will provide ready-to-use skills to researchers and staff members with the help of colleagues from Trinity College Dublin and ELTE.
The training session is targeting university leadership, researchers, and educators, as well as PhD students.
