Returning after the summer break, this ninth CHARM ON session turns the spotlight on an essential pillar of transnational cooperation: the Joint Virtual Offices (JVOs).
Behind every cross-border initiative lies a distributed administrative engine. Drawing on grounded experiences supporting the Master’s in Global Challenges for Sustainability, in this session we will delve into the day-to-day realities of coordinating CHARM-EU’s flagship international programme across borders. Our panellists will reflect on navigating diverse institutional frameworks, supporting students across mobility phases, and aligning workflows within a multilingual, intercultural team.
Rather than treating administration as merely an operational backdrop, the discussion explores how shared virtual offices bridge national systems to turn the vision of a European University into sustainable everyday practice.
Date: Monday, 28 September
Time: 13:00–14:00 CET
Format: Online panel discussion (live stream + sound recording available afterwards)

This event is open to all members of CHARM-EU universities — educators, researchers, students, and professional staff — and to anyone curious about seed funding educational innovation in higher education. No registration required.
Each CHARM ON features a moderated panel with voices from across our university community (educators, researchers, students, and support staff) sharing concrete experiences that bring CHARM-EU’s approaches to life. Together, they connect principles to practice, point to good examples in our Service Portfolio, and signpost trainings and follow-up opportunities offered by the Alliance.
CHARM ON will take place on the last Monday of each month at 13:00 CET, offering a regular space to share ideas, practices, and impact stories across the CHARM-EU community.
