Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the learner will be able to apply fundamental management concepts and theories across key functional areas—including leadership, communication, collaboration, organizational culture, human resource management, innovation, quality, marketing, planning, motivation, decision-making, and project management—in order to analyze organizational situations, evaluate alternative solutions, and propose well-justified managerial decisions in practical contexts.

Planned educational activities and teaching methods:

The course is delivered in a fully asynchronous format, allowing learners to progress at their own pace. The learning materials include narrated video (panopto) lectures and carefully designed Moodle quizzes to support understanding and continuous self-assessment.

Weekly Homework (Weeks 1–13)
Students complete one short homework per week related to the topic of the given week (e.g., short case analysis, concept application, reflection, mini-quiz, tool-based task).
Submission via Moodle by the weekly deadline.

Final Test (End of Semester)
ELTE–CHARM-EU Student Projectwork (Team-Based)
Students participate in a project (ELTE–CHARM-EU context) applying management methods to a real or realistic challenge.
