CHARM-EU is organizing its fourth Open Science training with a hybrid session featuring an introduction to monitoring Open Science and to Open Research Information, as well as a presentation of new strategies to support Open Access. The goal is to share experiences to support the Open Science culture amongst researchers, educators, research support officers, open science experts as well as PhD students.

In the current context of reforming research assessment processes, we will discuss how to monitor the uptake of Open Science practices.

Speaker: Paul Boselie, Utrecht University. Full professor of Governance & Organization Science. Chief Open Science at Utrecht University

This training session is focused on developing and shaping an alternative publication culture in universities based on a Dutch case study at multiple levels. The session will focus on why?, how? and what? from a national and organizational perspective, giving special attention to the phenomenon of collaborative innovation (cooperation of different universities in the Netherlands) and the application of good practices from a grassroots perspective.
