Last 7 July 2022 CHARM-EU’s partner, ELTE organised an internal meeting to showcase the main CHARM-EU and TORCH results. During the closing ceremony, the second edition of the CHARM awards was presented.
The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Imre Hamar, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Head CHARM-EU-related activities at ELTE. The Vice-Rector highlighted that all ELTE faculties are involved in the CHARM-EU activities and that more than 100 ELTE colleagues have already worked in the project. Following the opening speech, ELTE experts working in CHARM-EU, summarized the activities carried out in each project’s Work Package and within the CHARM-EU Master’s in Global Challenges for Sustainability.
Prof. Dr. Péter Sziklai, ELTE’s Vice-Rector for Research introduced the CHARM-EU research and innovation dimension, TORCH. The Vice-Rector emphasized the comprehensive nature of TORCH and highlighted that in addition to the strategic planning processes, concrete R&I project proposals were created, which could be realized in the following years. The professional overview ended with the presentation of the UNI-ECO project launched in 2019 by CHARM-EU members.
ELTE CHARM-EU Award 2022…and the winners are…
The ELTE CHARM-EU Award ceremony was held as part of the ELTE’s local event. The annual award is given to those teachers, researchers and colleagues working in the Alliance as well as representatives of partner institutions collaborating with the ELTE, who have played a key role in ELTE’s work at CHARM-EU and have made a significant contribution to ELTE’s achievements and successes within the Alliance.
This year’s winners of the ELTE CHARM-EU Award are:
Luca Alexa Erdei, assistant lecturer of the Faculty of Education and Psychology, for her work in the Mobility work package
Ágnes Sarolta Fazekas, assistant professor at the Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education, for her work as the leader of the Inclusion work package
Katalin Felvinczi, professor of the Faculty of Education and Psychology, for her work as a facilitator of the Life and Health Track of the CHARM-EU Master’s programme
Zsófia Kollányi, assistant professor of the Faculty of Social Sciences, for her work as a module coordinator in the Life and Health Track of the CHARM-EU Master’s programme
Krisztina Ildikó Lénárt, Head of Department of the Directorate of Education, for the work in the coordination of the Teaching and Learning work package within ELTE
Viktor Gábor Mihucz, associate professor of the Faculty of Science, for his work as a facilitator of the Food Track of the CHARM-EU Master’s programme
Katalin Anna Németh, Head of Department of the Directorate of Education, for her previous management work in the Mobility work package
Ádám Zoltán Tóth, assistant professor of the Faculty of Science, for his work as a facilitator of the Water Track of the CHARM-EU Master’s programme
András Vadas, assistant professor of the Faculty of Humanities, for his work as a module coordinator in the Water specialization
The ceremony ended with reception and informal discussion among participants.
