The main plenary session will discuss why alliances should internationalise by exploring how academic and research partnerships strengthen Europe's appeal and what Alliances can bring to international cooperation. After successful pilot and ongoing roll-out phases, Alliances and stakeholders will discuss why internationalisation is high on the roadmap building on real-world examples, sketching the current challenges in connection with EU policy objectives set for the initiative and global trends for higher education and research.

Panel session on collaborations with Ukraine partners in the context of the war and post-war reconstruction context. Several solidarity and cooperation schemes have been deployed by alliances. The discussion will present ongoing impactful cooperation initiatives, and current and future needs to prepare for the European future of Ukraine.
