"Syncing Achievements: Collaborative Solutions to Facilitate the Path to the European Degree Label" will be held at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the European Union in Brussels. This meeting will serve as a forum, uniting stakeholders from across Europe. It will provide a central platform for educators, policymakers, and institutions to discuss and advance the European Degree Label within the framework of the ED AFFICHE Project.

CHARM-EU R&I Days - 1st edition
30 and 31 October 2023

Building Multidisciplinary Research Proposals: A Co-Creation Workshop to Address the Water Global Challenges will take place during the afternoon of Monday 30 October and the morning of Tuesday 31 October, 2023. Researchers and external stakeholders will be divided into subgroups and will discuss about funding opportunities. During the co-creation workshops, they will come together and start to develop new research proposals which would be submitted to European funding opportunities in order to continue to address the Water Global Challenges of the future together.

CHARM-EU Annual Conference 2023

On 7 November 2023, the CHARM-EU Alliance will host the public CHARM-EU Annual Conference in Würzburg, Germany. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences and best practices on the different strategies that European University Alliances use to achieve societal impact. This discussion will lead to an exchange of ideas with external stakeholders on the way forward for European University Alliances in order to enhance their impact. II Forum of Universities for the Future of Europe
14 and 15 September 2023

Meeting of the European universities that coordinate the alliances of the European Universities initiative of the European Commission. Among the topics to be discussed are the legal status of alliances and the European Degree label, topics on which the Commission has recently published a call for pilot tests during 2023, as well as the external dimension of alliances and some topics proposed by student associations. It is intended that the Forum ends with some conclusions.

Fostering the higher education sector in Europe: the role of citizen science in transforming universities

The European Citizen Science (ECS) project, which connects a rich citizen science community, wants to provide a space to exchange practical experiences in integrating and using citizen science practices in universities and to gather recommendations for the European Commission and other stakeholders in ways of supporting citizen science in the high education sector.

To do so, ECS is organising an online event for everyone (such as academics, educators, university staff, citizen science practitioners, early career researchers, policy makers, civil servants, general public and industry representatives) interested in learning about and discussing the role of citizen science in transforming universities in Europe.

CHARM-EU European University: a test bench for teaching, research and innovation and management

This professors' training, organised by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation Policy and the Professional Development Institute (IDP-ICE), will be held on 29 June, from 11 AM to 2 PM CEST, in the Degree Room of the Faculty of Biology.

CHARM-EU is building a new university model and a global example of good practice for improving the quality, international competitiveness and attractiveness of higher education. This project can serve as a testing ground for teaching, research and innovation and management and thus improve our practices.

4EU+ Education Days
20th to 21st June 2023

Organised in the framework of the NAWA-funded "4EU+ for Ukraine" project, the 4EU+ Education Days will take place on 20-21 June 2023. This hybrid event, taking place on-site at the University of Warsaw and online, is open to academic and administrative staff of 4EU+ member universities and partner higher education institutions from Ukraine.

During session#3 "Joint study programmes within the European Higher Education Area", the ED-AFFICHE will be presented when talking about the European Degree label and  how the European framework and policies address both the theory and the practice of operating transnational join study programmes from the HEI perspective.

International Evening 2023

Higher Education Teaching Excellence and the Future of the European Education Area
21st June 2023

The conference will present the outcomes of the E-NOTE project, a Strategic Partnership funded by the Erasmus+ programme (2020-2023) with the view to examining higher education teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate teaching levels, as well as in the context of PhD supervision. A policy roundtable, featuring representatives from EU institutions and academia, will close the event thus offering the chance to explore these issues in connection with ongoing policy developments under the European Education Area and the European Strategy for Universities: “Towards a European Approach to Teaching Excellence in a Global Context”.
