DESCRIPTION:How to balance sustainability and internationalisation? It is an increasingly important challenge for all actors involved in internationalisation activities\, and is particularly acute when it comes to mobility. This dilemma\, with all its practical aspects\, is more and more at the core of IROs’ work. \nIf you are committed to green approaches and passionate about internationalisation\, the Student Mobility Summit 2025 is for you! \nCHARM-EU’s role at the student mobility summit\nCHARM is an active participant at the summit and hosts two of the sessions. \nRound table: How the priorities of the programme are reflected in the HEIs’ policies and instruments (FOREU4ALL)\nHackathons: Developing a holistic approach to sustainability and internationalization (Sergio Villanueva\, Delegat del rector per a la CHARM-EU\, director UB CHARM-EU) \nDiscuss\, cooperate\, and network\nAt the summit you will gain insights into translating policy into practice\, discover national and institutional initiatives\, and access valuable resources to support your work. You will have the opportunity to cooperate with peers from across Europe on the most challenging issues. You will be able to deepen your knowledge and learn from each other in an inspiring atmosphere. \nThis event is organised under the aegis of the UB-EUF University Internationalisation Hub \nThe Student Mobility Summit 2025 is designed for international relations professionals who are not only passionate about internationalisation and quality student mobility\, but also committed to green approaches. \nThe event\, which will take place from 4 to 6 February 2025 at the University of Barcelona\, will focus on how to balance mobility with sustainability. \nA particular emphasis will be placed on how the green transition impacts the work of IROs\, their responsibilities and how it is present in their daily activities. \nParticipants can expect a range of engaging topics and programme sessions\, including: \nKEYNOTES AND PANELS: Learn about top policies and their interactions\, the green transition updates\, as well as national and European initiatives.\nHACKATHONS: Work with peers to find new ways to create a possible better balance between international mobility and sustainability.\nWORKSHOPS: Sustainability considerations are shaping the day-to-day work of IROs. Dive into the most challenging issues of your interest.\nTRAININGS: Take advantage of the inspiring environment to learn about the practical aspects of greener mobility and become a driver of change. \n
