SUMMARY:Policy interventions for a sustainable food supply chain: where are

DESCRIPTION:The European Green Deal is a political milestone that aims to p
 romote a carbon-neutral economy in the European Union. Decarbonizing the c
 omplex food sector requires a unified interaction between effective climat
 e policies\, economic instruments and multi-stakeholder initiatives.\nDesp
 ite the political push to promote technological innovation\, reformulate p
 olicies and channel financial investments into green projects\, comprehens
 ive information on opportunities and barriers to emission reduction in the
  food sector is still under-researched.\n\n\nThe ENOUGH project is an am
 bitious research initiative that provides the necessary technical\, policy
  and economic tools to support the green transition. This presentation wil
 l inform the public about the gaps in policy\, the need for investment and
  consumer perspectives on sustainable food.\nDr. Ianna Dantas is a postdoc
 toral researcher at the Ibero-America Institute for Economic Research at t
 he University of Göttingen. Her research focuses on natural resource mana
 gement\, sustainable development and agriculture\, land use change\, tropi
