SUMMARY:CHARM-EU Governance Forum
DESCRIPTION:CHARM-EU is happy to officially announce the CHARM-EU Governance Forum! This 2-day event will be hosted by the University of Montpellier on March 24th and 25th. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe discussions from the last CHARM-EU Annual Conference perfectly highlighted the fact the governance is one of the biggest challenges that European Universities have to face in their building process. This broad and thorny topic raises a lot of questions: How to bring multiple legal entities together to create a brand new one? How can this new legal entity support the task of European Universities alliances? What governance models\, services\, units and structures are necessary for achieving or common goals? \nBuilding upon the experience of European Universities \nWhile European Universities alliances were separately facing these challenges\, it is now time to come together to address them. This forum will highlight the governance model developed by CHARM-EU with innovation\, sustainability and inclusion at its core. Other European Universities alliances will share their own experiences\, allowing to put in perspective the differences between the models developed and to highlight the best practices allowing to address these questions. \nJoining forces to create the governance model of the future \nThe CHARM-EU Governance Forum will tackle all of the questions faced and contribute to identify the best solutions and strategies for the future governance of European Universities alliances. A wide range of stakeholders will enroll in the discussions and join forces to address this common challenge of building the governance model of the university of the future. DESCRIPTION:Whether you are an enterprise\, a civil society organisation\, a policymaker or a professional expert\, you are likely interested in participating in this international event  next 8th of March at 12.00 CET which connects you with the future of higher education\, meeting the needs of students\, business and society. \nNext 8th of March at 12.00 CET CHARM-EU is organising an information session on extra academic cooperation. During this virtual event participants will learn more about the opportunities for collaborating with our transdisciplinary master students and academics during the last phase of our Master’s in Global Challenges for Sustainability: the Capstone. During the Capstone phase\, students work collaboratively with their peers\, academic staff\, and extra- academic actors (e.g. business and society) on an authentic sustainability challenge which is based on the student’s original disciplinary field. \nWould you like to learn more about how your question could be submitted as a master challenge?
