SUMMARY:Cooperation with China: Developing Competences and Structures in European Higher Education
DESCRIPTION:The UB Sustainable hub invites you to participate in this interdisciplinary meeting space to visualize and design the future through collaborative research. It is aimed at members of the UB SG Hub\, as well as PDI and PhD candidates interested in the challenges of building a sustainable future. The event will allow for the integration of cross-cutting visions of knowledge and research to define realistic sustainability scenarios. Register to share your expertise and participate in defining the future strategic pillars\, contributing directly to the creation of social scenarios that make sustainability on planet Earth possible. The event will feature international keynote speakers: Pep Canadell (CSIRO\, Global Carbon Project)Maria Luisa Lima (ISCTE-Lisbon University Institute)Albert Tarancón (IREC – Energy Research Institute of Catalonia)Participatory Workshop Session The heart of the day will take place in the afternoon\, with a group workshop session that will be key to defining future strategic axes. This co-creation space will allow for the implementation of debated ideas and direct participation in shaping social scenarios that make sustainability on planet Earth possible. Call for Presentations We are also opening a call for oral presentations for researchers who wish to share projects\, data or proposals that contribute to the creation of feasible scenarios. The deadline for submissions is 6 May.   This initiative is driven by the Sustainability Hub in collaboration with the POLIS Research Center (Art\, City\, Sustainability)\, the research institutes in Biomedicine (IBUB)\, Education (IRE)\, Nutrition and Food Health (INSA)\, Complex Systems (UBICS)\, Biodiversity (IRBio)\, and Applied Economics (IREA)\, as well as the TransJus Institute and the Barcelona Economics Analysis Team (BEAT).   								\n				\n				\n				\n									\n					\n						\n									More information
